The high cost of living in Santa Cruz County is a real obstacle for students who are trying to get an education and work in our community. Your support of these students gives them the foundation to achieve their dreams.Students like Monica, a first year student in the Medical Assisting Program, who received scholarship support this semester.

“I always knew I wanted a college education. My counselor suggested I try for the medical assisting program – I got in on my first try! To keep up with my studies, I had to cut back on working the graveyard shift, so this scholarship not only helped with diapers for my two year old, but will help me get a job in just a couple of years,” said Monica.
