Our stadium turf in Carl Conelly Stadium at Cabrillo has outlived its life and is now a safety concern for our student athletes — the cost to resurface is $1.2 million. In order to ensure that our football and soccer teams (not to mention the numerous youth teams that use the stadium) have a proper playing surface, Cabrillo has committed $800,000 to this project and we are breaking ground in March, but we need your to complete the project and celebrate our graduates on new turf this May.
